What we collect
Account information (email, and a password stored hashed), the profile information you choose to publish (name, sport or niche, location, social handles and follower counts, rates, bio, photos), the content you create on the platform (opportunities, offers, messages, reviews), and messages you send us through the contact form. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: displaying your public profile to other users, delivering messages and offers, processing deal payments, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving the product. We do not sell your personal information.
What's public
Your profile (including reach, rates, and reviews) is publicly visible. That's how you get discovered. Your messages, offers, deal amounts, and transactions are private to you and your counterparty. Your email address is never shown publicly.
Who we share with
Service providers that run the platform: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Stripe (payments). Each processes your data only to provide their service. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
You can edit your profile at any time. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data through the contact page, and we will process the request promptly, retaining only what we are legally required to keep (e.g. payment records). Cookies on Sponsmi are strictly functional (keeping you logged in); we run no third-party advertising trackers.
Children
Sponsmi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Minors aged 13–17 may only use the platform with parental consent and involvement.
