Community rules
Sponsmi is people arranging money with strangers. That only works if the rules are short, obvious, and actually enforced. These are the rules, and this is what we do about them.
What is not allowed
There is no tolerance for any of this, and no version of it that is acceptable because it was a joke, a test, or a negotiating tactic.
Anything involving someone under 18
Sponsmi is for adults. Sexual content involving minors is reported to the authorities and the account is removed permanently, with no appeal.
Harassment, threats and hate
Abuse, intimidation, threats of violence, encouraging self-harm, or attacking people for who they are.
Sexual content and sexual services
Nudity, sexual solicitation, or using a sponsorship listing to arrange something else entirely.
Scams
Asking to be paid outside Sponsmi, requesting a fee to release money, phishing for passwords or bank details, or impersonating a person, team or brand.
Illegal goods and stolen data
Drugs, weapons, counterfeits, hacked accounts or card data — dressed up as a sponsorship or otherwise.
Spam
Mass identical messages, listings for something that is not a sponsorship, or the same post over and over.
If you see it, report it
Report the content
Every profile, listing, sponsorship and conversation has a menu behind the three dots in its top corner. Pick the closest reason and add anything that helps. Reports are anonymous — we never tell the other person who filed one.
Block the person
Blocking takes effect immediately, without waiting for us. They cannot message you, send you an offer, or see anything you have posted, and you will not see anything of theirs. You can undo it in settings.
We review it within 24 hours
We take the content down, or we suspend the account, or we tell you why we did neither. Content reported by several different people is hidden straight away, before anyone has read the report, and stays hidden until someone has.
Something urgent
Write to support@sponsmi.com. A person reads that inbox. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first — we cannot do that for you.
What happens to an account that breaks the rules
A suspended account cannot post, message, make offers or leave reviews, and everything it published stops being visible. It keeps its data and any money already held, because deleting those would strand whoever is on the other side of a live deal. Serious cases — anything involving a minor, credible threats, or fraud — are permanent and may be referred to law enforcement.
If you think we got it wrong, reply to the notice or email support@sponsmi.com. We would rather hear about a bad call than have you leave over one.
Keeping your money safe
The single most common scam on any marketplace is someone asking to move the deal somewhere else. Sponsmi holds the money from the moment an offer is sent and releases it when the work is confirmed. Off Sponsmi, that protection does not exist, and neither does our ability to help. Read more about how deals are protected.
